Nursery Activities: Lots to see and do….
Because of our unique location we have access to many facilities, most of which mean we never have to leave the safety of the campus.
FARM VISITS
The farm on Nescotβs campus is situated close to the nursery and the children visit regularly to experience farm life. The children enjoy spending time outdoors and love seeing the tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, cows, and sheep as well as the more exotic lizards, snakes and insects.
MUSIC
We use Nescotβs Performing Arts building, adjacent to the nursery, where the children take part in music and movement activities.
LINKS TO HOME
We invite parents/carers and grandparents to join us for storytelling, planting in the allotment and cooking activities with the children.
COMMUNITY VISITS
We recently visited The Elders Retirement Home with our preschool children to take Harvest gifts. We also regularly walk to Bourne Hall in Ewell village to feed the ducks and visit the Library.
CAROL SERVICE
Our 2 to 5-year-olds hold a Carol Service in December for parents.
GRADUATION
Every year we hold a Graduation Day for our children who are about to start their new adventure at big school. The children each receive a certificate and they have the opportunity to wear a cap and gown for a photograph. Parents are invited to help their children celebrate this special occasion.
